1. Data controller

2. What data we process

These websites are a corporate catalogue of grow lighting products. There is no online shop, no purchases or payments can be made and there is no user registration. We only process the following data:

• Contact form data: first name and surname, company, telephone, email address and the message you write to us. Only the email address is mandatory; without it we cannot reply to you. Please do not include particularly sensitive data (for example, health data) in your message.
• Technical security data: when you use the contact form, Google reCAPTCHA processes your IP address, data about your browser and device, and your interaction with the page.
• Browsing data: only if you accept analytics cookies, we collect statistical information about how you use the website (for example, pages visited, type of device and browser).

3. Purposes, legal basis and retention periods

3.1. Answering your request for information or contact

• Purpose: to answer the enquiries you send us through the contact form and, if you are a professional in the sector, to manage a possible business relationship.
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box on the form, which is never pre-ticked, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Retention: for as long as necessary to handle your request and, if no business relationship begins, up to 24 months from the last communication. The data is then blocked for the legal limitation periods and finally erased.

3.2. Form security and spam prevention

• Purpose: to check that the form is sent by a person and not by an automated program. For this we use Google reCAPTCHA v3, a service of Google Ireland Limited, which is only loaded when you interact with the contact form, not during general browsing.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the website and the form against spam and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3.3. Web analytics

• Purpose: to understand statistically how the website is used in order to improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) and Metricool (metricool.com).
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given in the cookie panel. These tools are not loaded until you accept them.
• Withdrawing consent: you can do so at any time from “Manage cookies” in the page footer. When you withdraw it, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted and the page reloads.
• Retention: the cookies last for the period stated in our Cookie policy; statistical data is kept for the retention period configured in each tool.

4. Recipients

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so.

To provide the service we rely on providers that process data on our behalf (data processors):

• Hosting and technology service providers for the website.
• Google, for reCAPTCHA and Google Analytics.
• Metricool, for web analytics.

5. International transfers

Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, and by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

• Access: find out whether we process your data and obtain a copy.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
• Objection: object to our processing of your data.
• Restriction: ask us to keep your data without using it, in the cases provided for by law.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
• Withdrawal of consent: without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

7. Other information

• Automated decisions: we do not take automated decisions or create profiles using your data.
• Minors: this website is not intended for children under 14.
